Institut für Industrielle Softwaretechniken e.V. – IIST

The Institute for Industrial Software Engineering e.V. – IIST acts as interface between enterprises and universities and enables the efficient transfer of IT-know-how between research institutions and the industry. The main competencies of IIST also include ensuring the access to regional, national and european research resources through support during the application and research phases.

Furthermore IIST acts as forum and communication platform during the conception and organization of publications, symposiums, workshops, congresses and academic events.

Centre of Information-, Knowledge- and Service-Management e.V.

The Centre of Information-, Knowledge- and Service-Management is a centre for scientific research and technology transfer in the areas of information, knowledge and service management. It is in constant collaboration with the partner university, especially in the areas of new scientific/technological methods and techniques issued from research results and their conversion to working solutions.

The institute operates competence centers, which result in each case from the specific academic research fields of the represented university professors. At present these consist of the center for meta data and terminology (KMT) and the competence center service engineering and management (KSEM).

The institute co-operates with public and private clients in the context of scientific-technologic projects.
