About InfAI

The goal of the Institute for Applied Informatics (InfAI) e.V. is to promote research and science in the areas of computer science and business computing.

This is to be achieved through the:

• Promotion of research and teaching at the University of Leipzig by fund raising and allocation of funds for the University of Leipzig.
• Realization of interdisciplinary research projects and publication of the research results.
• Promotion of communication and co-operation in the areas of computer science and business computing by workshops, symposiums and congresses.

To reach these goals the institute

• is involved in research activities and concludes research contracts,
• supports research projects at the University of Leipzig,
• organizes workshops and seminars as well as conferences and congresses,
• establishes contacts between and to other organizations and institutions with similar goals.
